Novato United Team Formations

Novato United is our Select soccer program covering the Dixie and Novato areas.  We serve 300 boys and girls from U9 to U18.  Select offers a higher level of skills development for players who are interested in learning the sport and are ready to be challenged.  Select teams are coached by our professional coaching staff, many of whom have college coaching experience.  Our program is positive and friendly, with an emphasis on developing and improving the skills of every player.

U15 - U19 Team Formations - Boys & Girls

For the 2013/14 season, Novato United is offering a new team formation process for our upper age groups. This season, all players U15+ will be invited to a formal tryout session. This formal session will be held at IVC field #2 on the dates below. Additionally, each coach will offer a minimum of (4) additional informal training/tryout sessions.   (See schedule below)

  • Novato United invites players to wear any jersey, or shirt, shorts, shin guards, and cleats other than their NYSA Rec, DYSA Rec, or Novato United jersey.
  • All players - please come prepared! Bring soccer cleats, shin guards, water bottle and soccer ball.
  • We encourage any player to come to as many sessions as possible to be properly evaluated, and to attend a minimum of two sessions to be considered for a team. All tryouts are free.
